Protection as you’d expect it: The ankle has specifically been injected with reinforcement plastic to protect your ankle from the ground in the event of a fall or slide. This same treatment has also been given to the shin. The Dual Flex system has been incorporated into the sole which means that the double density rubber is flexible enough to give your foot mobility but stiff at the back so that your foot can’t bend all the way backwards. This is the kind of protection we like to see!

Comfort is key: Extra padding has been inserted into the rear cuff for added comfort and easy foot entry. The sole is memory foam which means that the boot moulds to the shape of your foot – ideal for touring! You can even replace the anti-bacterial foot bed to ensure that your boot is feeling fresh all year round. Finally, having the Drytex lining makes the Horizon boot waterproof to keep your foot dry but breathable too which stops you from sweating – result!
