The motorcycle jacket is constructed in 3 separate layers (hence “3L”): The outer shell is not waterproof and features large ventilation zips, but fear not! A waterproof inner jacket provides the water and wind-proofing: The inner jacket is removable and functions as a separate windcheater jacket for when you are on location. Last but not least, there is a removable thermal inner lining. This type of construction is the most adaptable for motorcycle and adventure touring: Zip in the waterproof and thermal liners for the mountain passes, and remove the inner liners for cruising the southern coastal roads in the Mediterranean sun. A rear pocket is large enough to pack both inner linings when not in use
